On Tuesday, October 26th, the Buccaneers and Publix hosted the third annual Halloween Celebration at Lowry Park Zoo. The 2010 Buccaneers rookie class, cheerleaders, Captain Fear and over 50 team staff members joined over 800 disadvantaged children ages 5-14 for an evening of fun at the zoo. The Buccaneers led youth through haunted houses and took part in arts and crafts, a costume contest, rides and more. Youth from participating nonprofit organizations included Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, the Police Athletic League and the YMCA. This is the third year in a row that the Buccaneers and Publix teamed up to provide a special Halloween experience for those less fortunate.
