Buccaneers Fitness Challenge

The second annual Buccaneers Fitness Challenge drew more than 400 participants to Raymond James Stadium on Sunday before Tampa Bay's game against Atlanta

On Sunday, November 17th, before the Buccaneers defeated the Atlanta Falcons 41-28, more than 400 fans showed up early to Raymond James Stadium to participate in the second annual Buccaneers Fitness Challenge, presented by Florida Hospital. The three-hour elimination-style tournament promoted fitness and fun in a healthy environment, and was the perfect way to kick off an exciting day of competition at Raymond James Stadium.

"Our ultimate goal is to improve the health of the community, and we’re doing that here today,” said Sharon Line-Clary, executive director of marketing and business development at Florida Hospital. “Today is a perfect example of the community coming together and galvanizing around health, and galvanizing around changing lifestyle and improving our community.”

The event awarded top prizes in the male, female, and group categories, presented this year to Kayti Simonson (Female – Crossfit HAF), Jimmy St. Louis (Male – Crossfit HAF), and Sparta Martial Arts & Fitness (Largest Group).
