The Tampa Bay Buccaneers waived/injured LB
The Buccaneers had begun the process on Monday with a series of moves that left them with 82 active players. In addition to the waiver of Cutrera, the team got to the limit by releasing veteran tight end
If Cutrera clears waivers by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, he will revert to the Buccaneers' injured reserve list.
Denton, Adam Smith and Branden Smith are all undrafted rookies who signed with the Buccaneers this offseason. Shanahan also entered the league as an undrafted free agent this spring, though he began with the New York Jets and only joined the Buccaneers on Monday. Crump was in his second NFL training camp after working with the Chicago Bears last summer. Miller, the only vested veteran in that group, spent most of three seasons (2010-12) with the Jacksonville Jaguars before signing with the Buccaneers in January.
