Predicting the Bucs' Complete Draft Class

Posted Feb 3, 2017

Pewter Report predicts all seven of the Buccaneers' draft picks.

Mock Drafts continue to roll in, with some outlets extending their predictions from one to three rounds. Pewter Report has taken that one step further, predicting the Buccaneers’ complete draft class.

In the second edition of their seven-round mock draft, Pewter Report’s Scott Reynolds projects the Buccaneers to pick up Alabama tight end O.J. Howard, who many believed to be the top prospect competing at last week’s Senior Bowl. Howard has a first-round grade from nearly every outlet and caught four passes for 39 yards to help the South defeat the North in Mobile.

Reynolds has Washington safety Budda Baker slotted in the second round, with Baker being the third former Husky to be linked to the Buccaneers this offseason. The Bucs have been tied to wide receiver John Ross and defensive tackle Elijah Qualls in recent mock drafts.

In rounds three and four, Pewter Report listed two other Senior Bowl standouts – Toledo running back Kareem Hunt and Texas A&M wide receiver Josh Reynolds. Hunt was the leading rusher in the Senior Bowl, picking up 118 yards on 15 carries while Reynolds was the game’s leading receiver with six catches for 96 yards. Howard, Hunt and Reynolds were all among Buccaneers.com’s standouts from the game.

In the final three rounds, Reynolds has the Bucs picking another wide receiver, along with a pass-rusher and a fullback. For his complete mock draft and detailed analysis, click HERE.
