  • Signed by Tampa Bay on September 21, 2012, from the San Diego Chargers practice squad.

 

ORIGINALLY ENTERED NFL

  • Originally entered the NFL as a college free agent with the San Francisco 49ers on April 29, 2012.

 

2013 HIGHLIGHTS

  • Signed to Tampa Bay’s practice squad on September 1.
  • Promoted to the Buccaneers’ active roster on October 1.
  • Played in his first game of the season vs. Philadelphia (10/13), catching a career-high three passes for another career-high 28 yards.
  • Inactive for three games on the season.
  • Recorded his first career NFL start vs. Atlanta (11/17).
  • Caught a career-long 20-yard pass at Carolina (12/1).

 

COLLEGE

  • Played four seasons at Stanford (2008-11), recording 102 receptions for 1,534 yards and 10 touchdowns, in addition to 78 kickoff returns for 2,132 yards (27.3 avg.) and three touchdowns.
  • Despite missing playing time due to injury his senior year, finished as the team’s second-leading receiver with 35 receptions for 376 yards and two touchdowns.

  • In November 2013, helped distribute donated food to the holiday tent at Metropolitan Ministries, and greeted families while assisting with their holiday shopping. 
  • Visited youth at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg and sang holiday carols to residents at Westminster Palms retirement home in December 2012.
  • Led students through football drills and promoted the importance of health and fitness for the opening of BUCS CARE School Fitness Zones at Mort Elementary in November 2012 and Davis Elementary in December 2012.
  • Signed autographs, handed out Buccaneers teddy bears, and greeted patients at Florida Hospital Tampa in November 2012.
  • Helped host a lunch for service members at Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater and visited veterans recovering from injury and illness at Bay Pines VA Hospital in November 2012.
  • Carved pumpkins with youth in the foster care system at The Children’s Home in October 2012.
