  • Originally selected by the New York Jets in the first round (14th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Played six seasons (2007-12) for New York Jets before being traded to Tampa Bay in 2013.
  • Since becoming a starter as a rookie in 2007, has started all 79 games in which he has played. Has totaled 325 tackles, 102 passes defensed, 19 interceptions for 364 yards and three touchdowns, six fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles and a sack during the regular season.
  • In six postseason games, has recorded 23 tackles, five passes defensed and two interceptions.
  • The AFC Defensive Player of the Year in 2009.
