  • Selected in the third round (83rd overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Buccaneers.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Has played in 73 career games with 60 starts (16 at center, five at right guard and 39 at left guard).
  • In 2008, became the third rookie since 2005 to start for the Buccaneers on the offensive line on opening day.
  • Started his first four career games at right guard before making a switch to left guard.
  • Recorded his first NFL start as center vs. New Orleans (10/17/10) when he took the place of C Jeff Faine (injured).

2012 HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Started at center during Weeks 1-8, before moving to starting left guard in Week 9 following injury to Carl Nicks.
  • Against Kansas City (10/14), helped the offense to 463 yards.
  • Helped the offense to 513 yards of total offense vs. New Orleans (10/21), the third-most yards in team history and the most in a home game.
  • At Minnesota (10/25), helped the offense to 416 yards, which marked the first time in franchise history that the Buccaneers recorded three consecutive games with 400-plus yards offensively.
  • Helped the offense to 515 yards from scrimmage at Oakland (11/4), the second- most total yards in team history.

  • Three-year starter at J.P. Stevens High School (Edison, New Jersey), playing on both the offensive and defensive lines.
