Entered the draft as a redshirt junior and left the University of Washington ranking third in catches among tight ends (74) and fourth among tight ends in receiving yards (953)… Started 22 of the 27 games he appeared in and was a semifinalist for the 2000 John Mackey Award, given to the nation’s top tight end… Junior season cut short due to a broken left foot suffered vs. Idaho… Played in five games, starting vs. Idaho and in the season finale at Miami, and recorded 10 receptions for 88 yards… Tallied a career-high, and set a school bowl-game record, with nine receptions for 109 yards and a score vs. Texas in the 2001 Holiday Bowl… As a sophomore, set a school record with 43 catches for 600 yards and three touchdowns while starting all 11 games… Named All-American Second-Team by Gannett News Service, College Football News, and Football News… All-Pac-10 Conference Second-Team selection by coaches and media, while Football News named him First-Team All-Pac-10… Co-winner of KOMO 1000’s Most Outstanding Offensive Player award… Caught five passes for 51 yards in the team’s 2001 Rose Bowl win over Purdue… Played in all 11 games as a redshirt freshman, starting nine, while hauling in 21 passes for 265 yards and four scores… His 21 receptions were the most ever by a freshman tight end… Earned Freshman All-American Second-Team honors by The Sporting News and an All-Pac-10 Freshman team choice by the Seattle P-I… Redshirted the year before and spent the first part of the season as scout squad quarterback before converting to tight end… Majored in American Ethnic Studies.

Visited Webb Middle School to promote health and fitness at a “What Moves U” fitness rally in November 2008… Joined other Bucs players at Metropolitan Ministries to help run Gatorade Junior Training Camp as part of the annual LAMPLighters event, which is part of a birthday event for children at the shelter… Along with Will Allen, spoke to students at Turkey Creek Middle School in Plant City about the importance of physical activity and sound nutrition during a Buccaneers and American Heart Association “What Moves U” fitness rally in January 2008… Top quarterback prospect out of Olympia’s River Ridge High where he passed for 1,497 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior, and also had 17 catches for 242 yards and three scores… Also played basketball and ran track… Has one brother and two sisters… Sister, Jameka, played volleyball at the University of Hawaii… Born Jerramy Stevens on November 13, 1979 in Olympia, Washington.
