  • Signed by Tampa Bay on March 26, 2014 as an unrestricted free agent from the New York Giants.

 

ORIGINALLY ENTERED NFL:                                                         

  • Originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick, (124th overall) of the Oakland Raiders in the 2009 NFL Draft.

 

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Has played in 71 games with 24 starts, recording 121 receptions for 1,744 yards and eight touchdowns, also contributing 14 rushing attempts for 146 yards and one touchdown.
  • Played for Oakland (2009-2011), Carolina (2012) and New York Giants (2013) before joining Tampa Bay.
  • Started NFL debut against San Diego (09/14/09), catching four passes for 87 yards, including a 57-yard touchdown.
  • In 2010 set career highs with 41 receptions for 609 yards.
  • In 2011, Murphy had his first career rushing touchdown against Detroit (12/18/11) on a 12-yard carry.
