  • Signed by Tampa Bay on March 20, 2014 as an unrestricted free agent from Oakland.

 

ORIGINALLY ENTERED NFL:                                                          

  • Originally entered the NFL as a first-round pick, (25th overall) of the Dallas Cowboys in the 2008 NFL Draft.

 

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Has played in 86 career games, with 63 starts, recording 252 tackles, 65 passes defensed, 10 interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
  • Has played in two postseason games, tallying six passes defensed, two tackles and one interception.
  • Spent five seasons in Dallas (2008-12) and one season in Oakland (2013) before joining Tampa Bay.
  • Selected to the 2009 Pro Bowl, recording a career-best five interceptions and 23 passes defensed.
  • Grabbed first career interception at New York Giants (11/2/08), returning it 23 yards for a touchdown.
  • Made first career start at St. Louis (10/19/08).

  • Collected his first fumble recovery of the year at Denver (9/23), returning it 20 yards, helping set up a Raiders touchdown. Also added eight tackles and a pass defensed.
  • Notched his first interception of the season against Pittsburgh (10/27), also contributing five tackles and two passes defensed.
  • Registered a career-high ten tackles in a victory at Houston (11/17).

  • A Thorpe Award candidate his senior season, he started all 13 games, setting career highs in tackles (41) and interceptions (three), while adding 12 passes defensed.

  • In 2005, started all 12 games, collecting 38 tackles, five passes defensed. two interceptions and two forced fumbles
