Also played in the clubs two postseason games... Saw limited action at linebacker at San Francisco (9/30) while posting a team-high three special teams stops and one forced fumble on a kickoff... 2006: Played on special teams only in all 16 games for Seattle, tying for the team lead (Kevin Bentley) with 14 special teams tackles... Registered multiple special teams tackles in three games... Played in both of Seattles postseason games, making one tackle on special teams in an NFC Divisional Playoff Game at Chicago (1/14)... Posted two special teams tackles vs. N.Y. Giants (9/24), at Kansas City (10/29) and vs. San Diego (12/24)... Had a four-game streak with at least one special teams tackle (Games 4-7).
2005: Posted 10 special teams stops, tying for sixth on the team, and had two defensive tackles (one solo) in 12 games to help Seattle post a 13-3 record and advance to Super Bowl XL... Added seven special teams tackles in three postseason contests... Had two games in the regular season with multiple special teams tackles (three vs. N.Y. Giants 11/27 and two vs. San Francisco 12/11)... 2004: Played all 16 games with two starts as a rookie for Seattle, compiling 46 tackles (38 solo) and one sack while leading the club with 16 special teams tackles... Started the last two games of the regular season and the clubs NFC Wild Card Game vs. St. Louis (1/8), making five tackles (three solo) in that game... Posted a career-high nine tackles at N.Y. Jets (12/19) and recorded his first career sack with a one-yard takedown of A.J. Feeley vs. Miami (11/21).
Totaled 296 tackles (180 solo) and 17 passes defensed in 50 career games (32 starts) at Purdue University... Earned first-team All-Big Ten Conference honors as a senior, starting every game and compiling 101 tackles (57 solo), two interceptions and four passes defensed... Led the Boilermakers with a career-high 121 tackles (80 solo) while posting four sacks and three interceptions in 13 starts as a junior... Played every game at Purdue during his first two seasons Majored in organizational leadership and supervision at Purdue.
Attended Milford Academy (Milford, CT) for a post-graduate season after graduating from Plainville High School in Plainville, Connecticut... Earned honorable mention all-state and all-conference honors at Plainville High School, where he was the team captain and was selected as its most valuable player...
