Justin Sheridan
Pro Scout

Justin Sheridan enters his eighth season with Tampa Bay in 2013 and fourth as a college scout, having previously served as a pro scout with the club. He is responsible for scouting collegiate players in the Midwest and parts of the Northeast.

Sheridan joined the Buccaneers’ staff in 2006 as a pro personnel assistant before being promoted to pro scout in 2008. As a pro scout, he was responsible for the evaluation of player personnel and scouting report preparation for Tampa Bay’s opponents. He also monitored NFL transactions and assisted with the recruiting and signing of NFL free agents. He was part of the Buccaneers NFC South championship in 2007.

Prior to joining the Buccaneers, Sheridan spent two seasons as the director of football operations at Northwestern University, from March 2004 to June 2006. In his role, he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the football program, serving as a liaison to the athletic department, business office, academic services, compliance and NFL personnel, among others. Sheridan originally joined the NU staff as a recruiting assistant in July 2001 before being promoted to Assistant Director of Football Operations in February 2003.

Sheridan worked as the assistant director of football operations at University of Pennsylvania before joining Northwestern’s staff. He also worked as an Assistant Coach at Western Maryland College from May 1999 to December 2000. A native of Ebensburg, PA, Sheridan graduated from Western Maryland College (which is now known as McDaniel College) with his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in accounting. At WMC, he was a four-year letterwinner, playing on two Centennial Conference championship teams.

Sheridan and his wife, Kristen, live in Libertyville, Illinois with their two sons, Payton and Brooks.
