Glazer Family Foundation
The Glazer Family Foundation is committed to building a stronger and healthier Tampa Bay. Through investment and innovation, we support children’s health and education programs that will positively impact the community for generations to come.
Glazer Family Foundation Vision Program
The Glazer Family Foundation Vision Program has provided more than 93,000 eye screenings, performed over 13,000 eye exams and outfitted more than 11,000 children with free eyeglasses since the start of the program in 1999. Birthed from the passion and legacy of the late Malcom Glazer, the Glazer Family Vision Program seeks to close the gap of access and cost for all children.
In 2015, a state-of-the-art themed RV was unveiled and travels to Title-1 schools throughout Hillsborough County providing crucial eye screenings for children. Equipped with a doctor’s office, frame shop and premier lab, the Vision Mobile is a one-stop experience for children in need of vision care.
Glazer Children’s Museum
Welcoming more than 200,000 visitors annually, the Glazer Children’s Museum opened in Downtown Tampa in 2010 with a mission of creating a learning laboratory where children play, discover and connect with the world around them; developing lifetime learners and leaders.
Spanning across 53,000 square feet of discovery, this premier museum works with child-development experts to curate programs in a safe and nurturing environment where everyone is included, enabled, and empowered to dream and excel.
