BUCCANEERS ELEVATE TWO FROM PRACTICE SQUAD

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today elevated cornerback Anthony Chesley (No. 37) and safety Nolan Turner (No. 34) from the team's practice squad for tomorrow's Week 6 game vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Chesley (6-0, 190) was signed to Tampa Bay's practice squad on Sept. 1, 2022. He originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals on May 10, 2019. He has appeared 12 career games over two seasons between the Houston Texans (2020) and Indianapolis Colts (2021), totaling five tackles and one fumble recovery, in addition to two special teams tackles. The Temple Hills, Maryland, native played four collegiate seasons at Coastal Carolina (2015-18), appearing in 42 career games. He was the only junior voted as a team captain for the 2017 season.

Turner (6-1, 202) originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Buccaneers on May 13, 2022. He was added to Tampa Bay's practice squad on Aug. 31, 2022. Turner played five seasons at Clemson (2017-21), appearing in 65 career games for the Tigers and ranking fourth all-time in games played in program history. The Vestavia Hills, Alabama, native was a two-time team captain and earned second-team All-America honors in 2020. He was a member of Clemson's 2018 national championship team. His late father, Kevin, had an eight-year career in the NFL with New England (1992-94) and Philadelphia (1995-99).
