Buccaneers Injury Report, September 12

The Buccaneers have released their first injury report ahead of their home opener on Sunday, September 16 against the Philadelphia Eagles.


The Buccaneers and Eagles released their first injury reports of the week on Wednesday. A total of four Buccaneers did not participate, including wide receiver DeSean Jackson who suffered a concussion in last Sunday's game. Both guard Caleb Benenoch and left tackle Donovan Smith were limited but practiced on Wednesday.

The Eagles were hit in their receiving corps on injuries. Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery was limited along with receiver Shelton Gibson. Running back Darren Sproles was also limited after playing in last Thursday's game against the Falcons. Quarterback Carson Wentz is still not cleared for contact following his ACL injury last season so backup quarterback Nick Foles gets the starting nod again.
