While the injury list is longer this week following a 1 p.m. home opener against the Philadelphia Eagles in the brutal Florida heat, there is some good news in the below. The Bucs got veteran cornerback Brent Grimes back in full capacity after he had been sidelined with a groin injury dating back to the preseason. It's a welcome sight to have a veteran leader back in the young secondary. The Bucs also saw defensive tackle and first-round pick Vita Vea back in action for the first time in seven weeks. Vea, who is recovering from a calf injury, practiced in a limited capacity.
Though Pittsburgh doesn't have quite the heat index that Tampa does, the first two games of the season weren't so kind to the Steelers, either. They list seven men on their injury report, though Maurkice Pouncey, the team's veteran center, was held out due to non-injury reasons.
