Team Places OL Evan Smith & RB Shaun Wilson On Injured Reserve

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has signed linebacker Kevin Minter, promoted running back Dare Ogunbowale (pronounced "DAR-ay oh-goon-bo-WALL-ay") from the practice squad to the active roster and placed offensive lineman Evan Smith and running back Shaun Wilson on Injured Reserve.

Minter (6-0, 246) – who played in one game for Tampa Bay earlier this season – originally entered the NFL as a second-round pick (45th overall) of the Arizona Cardinals in the 2013 NFL Draft. He spent his first four seasons with Arizona (2013-16), before spending the 2017 season with the Cincinnati Bengals. He spent this past offseason and preseason with the New York Jets.

Ogunbowale (5-11, 205) has spent time on Tampa Bay's practice squad this season. He originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Houston Texans in 2017 and spent time during the 2017 season on the practice squads of the Texans, Buccaneers and the Washington Redskins, while also appearing in two games for Washington. The Milwaukee native played collegiately at Wisconsin.

The team also announced that running back Ralph Webb has been signed to the practice squad.

Webb (5-10, 202) entered the NFL as a college free agent with the New England Patriots this past offseason. He spent the preseason with New England and was on the Patriots' practice squad for the first five weeks of the season. Webb, a native of Gainesville, Florida, played collegiately at Vanderbilt, finishing his career as the school's all-time leading rusher, with 4,178 yards.
