The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today the team has signed safety Andrew Adams.
Adams (5-11, 202) spent the past two seasons with the New York Giants, playing in 30 games, with 17 starts, totaling 73 tackles (two for loss), seven passes defensed, one forced fumble and one interception. He spent this past offseason and preseason with New York, before being waived prior to Week 1.
A native of Fayetteville, Georgia, Adams played collegiately at Connecticut. He entered the NFL as a college free agent with the Giants following the 2016 NFL Draft. He will wear No. 26 for Tampa Bay
The team also announced that cornerback Marko Myers has been signed to the team's practice squad.
Myers (5-10, 185), a native of Orlando, Florida, played collegiately at Southeastern University, located in Lakeland, Florida. He spent this past offseason and preseason with the Buccaneers. He will wear No. 43 for Tampa Bay.
