BUCCANEERS SIGN WR ISHMAEL HYMAN AND TE JORDAN LEGGETT TO PRACTICE SQUAD

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has signed wide receiver Ishmael Hyman and tight end Jordan Leggett to the team's practice squad.

Hyman (6-0, 196) spent the majority of the 2019 season on the Buccaneers practice squad before making two receptions for 34 yards over his two games on the active roster in Weeks 15-16. He spent the 2019 offseason and preseason with the Cleveland Browns and also spent time with the Orlando Apollos in the Alliance of American Football this past spring. He played collegiately at James Madison, winning an FCS title with the team in 2016. The Manalapan, New Jersey, native wears No. 18 for Tampa Bay.  

Leggett (6-5, 258) has split time between the practice squad and 53-man roster for the Buccaneers this season. He originally entered the league as a fifth-round pick (150th overall) of the Jets in the 2017 NFL Draft. After missing his rookie season, Leggett played in 15 games in 2018 with New York, catching 14 passes for 114 yards and a touchdown. A native of Navarre, Florida, he played collegiately at Clemson. He wears No. 87 for Tampa Bay.
