BUCCANEERS SIGN WR K.J. BRENT & RB DARE OGUNBOWALE TO PRACTICE SQUAD 

Team Releases RB Ralph Webb From Practice Squad

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has signed wide receiver K.J. Brent and running back Dare Ogunbowale (pronounced "DAR-ay oh-goon-bo-WALL-ay") to the practice squad and waived running back Ralph Webb from the practice squad.

Brent (6-4, 190) originally entered the NFL as a college free agent with the Oakland Raiders following the 2016 NFL Draft. Brent spent the offseason and preseason with the Raiders in 2016 and 2017 and was on Oakland's practice squad during the 2016 season. After being waived by the Raiders following the 2017 preseason, Brent spent time with the Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts, spending this past offseason and preseason with Indianapolis. A native of Waxhaw, North Carolina, Brent played collegiately at Wake Forest. He will wear No. 15 for Tampa Bay.

Ogunbowale (5-11, 205) has spent time on Tampa Bay's practice squad and active roster this season, playing in two games. He originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Houston Texans in 2017 and spent time during the 2017 season on the practice squads of the Texans, Buccaneers and the Washington Redskins, while also appearing in two games for Washington. The Milwaukee native played collegiately at Wisconsin. He will wear No. 44 for Tampa Bay.
