Buccaneers Transcript: Head Coach Bruce Arians - Friday, December 6, 2019

*Head Coach Bruce Arians                              *

(On which players have been ruled out for Sunday's game)

"Alright, out for the ballgame: Alex Cappa, T.J. Logan broke his thumb today, Scotty Miller and Anthony Nelson. A good week of work and [we're] ready to roll."

(On if Logan broke his thumb in practice)

"Catching punts, yeah."

(On if Logan's injury will end his season)

"Yes."

(On options to replace Logan in the return game)

"Justin Watson and Sean Murphy-Bunting. Justin will take over [on punt returns]. Dare [Ogunbowale] will take over kickoff return."

(On where M.J. Stewart would fit in the defense as he returns from injury)

"He's best at nickel."

(On how he rates this week's practices)

"I would say Wednesday and Thursday were good solid practices; today was a little bit shaky. Your 'show' teams, the way they execute the other team's offense and defense, sets the tempo for practice. It was a little bit raggedy today."

(On who he still knows on the Colts from his year there in 2012)

"Gosh, I think T.Y.'s probably the only guy there, and Anthony Castonzo. I don't know if there's anybody left on the team. I'm not sure T.Y. will travel. Things turnover fast anymore."

(On what worries about him the Colts' offense)

"What worries me is their running game. Their offensive line is probably the best we've played all year. They're excellent in the running game. Jacoby Brissett is a really smart quarterback. They don't hold the ball long. They're hard to get to and sack him. They move the ball."

(On the Colts being prepared for the loss of Andrew Luck with Jacoby Brissett)

"[That's a] solid, solid G.M. right there. Chris [Ballard] does a hell of a job and that was a great pickup for them. We played him a couple years ago [with Arizona] when Andrew was hurt."
