Bucs-Giants Inactives: Scotty Miller Active for First Time

Two members of the Buccaneers' 2019 draft class – ILB Devin White and CB Jamel Dean – are out in Week Three due to injury, but a third, WR Scotty Miller is getting his first regular-season shot.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Giants named their game-day inactives on Sunday at 2:35 p.m. ET, 90 minutes before kickoff of their Week Three contest at Raymond James Stadium. NFL teams are required to reduce their active rosters to 46 players for each regular-season game.

The Buccaneers had already ruled out four players on Friday due to injury, including 2019 draft picks Devin White and Jamel Dean. White started the first two games at inside linebacker next to Lavonte David; in his absence, the Bucs will start Kevin Minter, who finished the Week Two game at Carolina after Minter was injured.

Two players who were inactive each of the first two weeks are on the Bucs' 46-man list against the Giants: OLB Demone Harris and WR Scotty Miller. Miller, a sixth-round pick in the 2019 draft, will have a chance to make his NFL regular-season debut.

The Giants get their top wide receiver, Sterling Shepard, back in action after Shepard missed the last game with a concussion. However, WR Cody Latimer did not clear the concussion protocol and is out.
