Bucs Set to Meet Patriots

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, off to their first 2-0 preseason start since 1990, host the New England Patriots tomorrow night at 8 p.m. EST at Raymond James Stadium. After a night practice at Edgewater High School in Orlando on Thursday, the Bucs returned home to prepare for the Patriots with an hour-long walk-through on Friday morning.

"We had the Orlando trip and that took a little doing, but we came through that O.K.," Buccaneers Head Coach Tony Dungy said. "I think our focus has been good and we`re ready for a good game."

There are a limited number of tickets available for Saturday`s game. Tickets can be purchased at any TicketMaster location or by calling (813) 287-8844. The game will also be televised locally on WTOG Channel 44.

CB Floyd Young (right hamstring strain), TE Patrick Hape (neck strain) and WR Dillan Micus (left hamstring) will not play against the Patriots.

DT Warren Sapp, who missed last week`s game against the Chiefs with low back pain, will start against the Patriots. Sapp returned to practice last Tuesday and is anxious to play on Saturday night.

"Im feeling fine," Sapp said. "Im ready to get on the field and see what it`s like against some different competition."

RB Warrick Dunn, who has been nursing a hamstring strain the last three weeks, will make his first appearance this preseason against the Patriots.

"Warrick should be fine," Dungy said. "I would like to get him between 12 and 15 plays"

G Frank Middleton, who has missed practice this week with a neck strain, participated in the team`s walk-through and is slated to play on Saturday.
