Head Coach Bruce Arians Media Availability - Friday, September 27, 2019

Head Coach Bruce Arians

(Opening statement)

"Out for the game will be Jamel Dean and Devin White. Both are making good progress [and we] hope to have them back next week. Everybody else will be game-time decisions – the guys that did participate today. [It was a] good week's work. [It will be a] heck of a challenge [with] obviously the travel [and] all the things that go with it, but I think we're more than ready."

(On having C Ryan Jensen and WR Chris Godwin back at practice)

"They were moving around OK. It looks like they're going to be alright."

(On what he wants to improve on special teams)

"Give our punt returner a chance. They [New York Giants] kicked some balls down the middle and they beat our vises. Give Bobo [Wilson] a chance, because we had some returnable balls to get on the other side of the 50 [yard line]. Obviously, with their [Los Angeles Rams] special teams, it's a huge challenge with the fakes and everything that they do, so it's going to be a crucial part of the game. Same thing [in the kicking game] – we left five points off the board in extra points and field goals, so they'll be huge in this game too."

(On if it was just one player getting to WR Bobo Wilson when he was returning punts)

"Yeah, it was just two guys on one, or one guy on one, or two half and half – you've just got to get him blocked. Just give him a chance to get started."

(On how involved he is in deciding when the team leaves for road trips and where it stays)

"Totally – I depend a lot on the sports science people to do it. I've had success [traveling] east coast to west coast [and] west coast to east coast. Going west is a whole lot easier than going west to east."
