Buccaneers To Host FHSAA Flag Football State Championships

Beginning on Friday, May 10, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) will host the 2024 FHSAA Girls Flag Football State Championships at the AdventHealth Training Center. This will mark the first time the Buccaneers have hosted this event, with the girls high school flag football season set to culminate in Tampa Bay.

Competing at the 1A level Choctawhatchee High School (Fort Walton Beach), Pembroke Pines Charter High School (Pembroke Pines), Robinson High School (Tampa) and Braden River (Bradenton), while Lennard High School (Ruskin), Wellington High School (Wellington), Palmetto High School (Miami) and Pace High School (Pace) will compete for the 2A title.
Built in a final four-style format, the two-day championship event will consist of semifinal and championship title games in 1A and 2A classifications. To qualify for their respective state championship games on Saturday, teams will compete in a semifinal matchup on Friday.

Admission costs will be covered by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation and free to all fans. Tickets can be claimed at the link here.
