You may recognize our featured Women of Red member, Priscilla Williams. A Krewe Member since 2014, she can be seen sporting piratical-themed costumes in the north end zone at every home game. Talk about Bucs' spirit! Staff Writer Carmen Vitali interviews Priscilla for this month's Women of Red Around the Bay…

Tell me how you became a Buccaneers fan?

Well, I'm actually a military brat and when we moved back to Florida, I decided to start watching the home team. I was about 10 years old and it was the excitement of going to a game in the old sombrero and the fan reaction and the atmosphere that did it. It got you hooked.

What does game day look like for you?

Now, I tailgate with a big group called What the Buc. We start 9 a.m. before each one o'clock game and every game I dress up in a different pirate outfit. I have fun with it. I get to interact with other fans, take pictures with them and meet people. My sister sometimes comes out with me for a couple games a year. I've made a ton of friends from out of state, just going to different tailgates.

Then I go in and enjoy the game. In my section we have two other women that dress up like pirates with me and we're trying to get our whole section to become the pirate section and dress up as well. We're trying to start a movement of our own in Section 121!

I also travel for a lot of away games. I have to say other stadiums, they don't do it like us. We have a lot of fun with it and I think we do it right. When I travel I meet other fan groups as well.

What was your favorite Buccaneers moment from this season?

My favorite play from this past season was actually in the preseason. It was Adam Humphries punt return for a touchdown. It was so exciting. I haven't seen something like that in a long time. I think the last time I saw it was when Michael Spurlock did it and I can't even remember what year that was. The stadium just went crazy and everyone was cheering.

Do you have a favorite Buccaneers player?

I'm a fan of Demar Dotson and not just because he's tall dark and handsome. I started liking him because he was always one of the last ones out of the locker room and always takes time to sign autographs no matter how the game went. The way he interacted with Miss Jackie, who everyone calls the pillow lady, he really took his time with her. I fell in love with that. His interaction with fans and especially Miss Jackie. We have a thing now where I have to get a picture with him after every game – we made a tradition of it and he knows the drill now.

What's it like to be a part of the Women of Red?

I like the Women of Red movement. It's something for us. It's a nice program and I enjoy it. I try and make all the events. The evening at training camp was fun. I liked being in the new indoor facility. I liked the different activities they had on the field and the speakers. It was nice.
