BUCCANEERS RE-SIGN CHASE EDMONDS

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today re-signed running back Chase Edmonds.

Edmonds returns for his second season in Tampa Bay after originally signing with the Buccaneers as a free agent during the 2023 offseason. Over 83 career games, Edmonds has rushed 450 times for 1,972 yards (4.4 avg.) and 11 touchdowns, adding 158 receptions for 1,159 yards and six receiving touchdowns.

He originally entered the league as a fourth-round selection (No. 134 overall) by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2018 NFL Draft and went on to play four seasons for the Cardinals (2018-21), before splitting the 2022 season between the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins.

The Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, native played collegiately at Fordham, where he established a number of Patriot League records, was a three-time FCS All-America honoree and earned the Jerry Rice Award in 2014 as the top NCAA FCS rookie.
