Underrated lead blocker and a deceptively agile receiver out of the backfield… Tough competitor who fought through injury in his first season with the Buccaneers in 2007 while contributing as the primary fullback… Joined the Buccaneers after spending first four seasons with the N.Y. 2006: Played in 13 games (all but vs. Chicago, vs. Houston and vs. Buffalo) with five starts (at Tennessee, at Buffalo, vs. Indianapolis, at Minnesota and vs. Oakland) for the Jets… Also played in lone postseason contest… Totaled six rushes for 11 yards and nine receptions for 50 yards on the season… Had 11 special teams tackles on the season… Posted two special teams tackles in season opener at Tennessee (9/10)… Had one rushing attempt for zero yards and one special teams tackle vs. New England (9/17)… Totaled three special teams tackles at Buffalo (9/24)… Had one rush for five yards vs. Indianapolis (10/1)… Had two carries for five yards at Jacksonville (10/8)… Had a career-long 12-yard reception and recorded one special teams tackle vs. Miami (10/15)… Recorded two receptions for nine yards and one special teams tackle at New England (11/12)… Caught a career-high three passes for 15 yards and recorded one rush for zero yards at Minnesota (12/17)… Had one special teams tackle at Miami (12/25)… Tied his career-high with three receptions for 14 yards in season finale vs. Oakland (12/31)… Caught two passes for 22 yards in the Wild Card game at New England (1/7).

2005: Played in 10 games (all but vs. Jacksonville, at Baltimore, vs. Tampa Bay, at Buffalo, at Carolina and at Denver) with one start (at New England) for the Jets… Totaled a career-high 13 rushes for 59 yards and one reception for 11 yards on the season… Notched 11 special teams tackles… Had one special teams tackle vs. Miami (9/18)… Inactive from Week 3 through Week 5 because of an ankle injury… Had four special teams tackles vs. New Orleans (11/27)… Had a career-high nine carries for a career-high 54 yards and one special teams tackle vs. Oakland (12/11)… Posted four carries for five yards, an 11-yard reception and recorded one special teams tackle at Miami (12/18)… Notched three special teams tackle vs. Buffalo (1/1).

2004: Played in all 16 games for the Jets… Also played in both postseason contests… Led the team with 31 special teams tackles… Totaled six rushes for 23 yards (3.8 avg.) and two receptions for 12 yards (6.0 avg.)… Also returned two kickoffs for 18 yards on the season… Had three special teams tackles vs. San Francisco (10/17)... Notched three tackles on special teams and recorded six carries for 23 yards vs. Miami (11/1)… Registered two tackles and one fumble recovery on special teams at Cleveland (11/21)… Recorded the first reception of his career for 11 yards and added one special teams tackle at Arizona (11/28)… Had two special teams tackles at St. Louis (1/2).

2003: Played in all 16 games as a rookie with the Jets… Finished with 15 special teams tackles… Also had one kickoff return for 27 yards and two carries for nine yards… Had one special teams tackle in NFL debut at Washington (9/4)… Totaled two carries for nine yards and had one special teams tackle vs. Buffalo (10/12)… Notched three special teams tackles vs. Jacksonville (11/23)… Finished contest at New England (12/20) with three special teams tackles and one kickoff return for 27 yards.

 

Finished career at Michigan with 83 catches for 777 yards and six receiving touchdowns in 48 games… Also totaled 343 rushes for 1,580 yards and 17 rushing touchdowns… Named the team’s MVP as a senior while earning All-Big Ten Conference honorable mention… Led the team in rushing with 199 carries for 902 yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore… Majored in graphic design.
 

Participated in a flag football clinic for 40 Special Olympics athletes from Hillsborough, Pinellas and Polk Counties during Super Bowl week at the 2009 NFL Experience… Rushed for 1,526 yards and scored 16 times during his senior year at Colerain (Ohio) High School... Named second-team Division I All-Ohio, first-team All-Greater Miami Conference, All-Southwest Ohio and All-Cincinnati pick in his senior year… Selected by The Detroit Free Press “Best of the Midwest” team… Gained 2,093 yards with 23 touchdowns during his prep career… Averaged 10 points per game as the starting forward on the basketball team as a junior in high school… Member of the Jets celebrity softball team at the annual Ronald McDonald House of Long Island’s Celebrity Challenge… The Celebrity Challenge raised money for the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island’s capital campaign to build a 24-bedroom extension to the current house on Long Island… Born Bobby DeAngelo Askew, Jr. on August 19, 1980 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
