Signed by the Buccaneers on September 14, 2009 after being released by the Denver Broncos on September 5, 2009… Made Buccaneer debut at Buffalo (9/20/09)… Has appeared in 27 career games with two starts, totaling 50 tackles, five sacks, one pass defensed, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries… Also scored a touchdown on a 50-yard fumble recovery vs. Pittsburgh (10/21/07)… Tied for fifth among NFL rookies with four sacks for the Broncos in 2007… Originally entered the NFL as a second-round draft pick (56th overall) of the Broncos in the 2007 NFL Draft.
 

2009: Signed by the Buccaneers on September 14… Played in eight games with one start (at Miami) this season… Made Buccaneer debut in Week 2 at Buffalo (9/20), posting three tackles and two quarterback pressures… Had five tackles and one QBP vs. N.Y. Giants (9/27)… Posted three tackles at Washington (10/4)… Recorded one tackle at Philadelphia (10/11)… Finished game vs. Carolina (10/18) with four tackles… Had two tackles one QBP vs. New England (10/25)… Recorded first sack as a Buccaneer and added four tackles vs. Green Bay (11/8)… Made first start of the season, replacing the injured DE Stylez G. White at Miami (11/15)… Finished game against the Dolphins with two tackles, one QBP and one pass defensed.
 

2008: Played in six games for Denver, totaling four tackles... Inactive for games 8-15.

2007: Appeared in 13 games with one start for the Broncos… Tied for fifth among NFL rookies and ranked second on the team with four sacks on the year… Also posted 22 tackles, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble… Registered a sack in three consecutive games for Denver in 2007, becoming the first Bronco to accomplish that feat since 2004… Scored a touchdown on a 50-yard fumble recovery on Sunday Night Football vs. Pittsburgh (10/21)… Notched the first two sacks of his career at Kansas City (11/11).

 

Four-year starter at the University of Texas and earned first-team All-Big 12 Conference recognition in each of his final two seasons as a Longhorn... Finished his collegiate career with 191 tackles, 19 sacks, two interceptions, 13 pass breakups, eight forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 51 games with 47 starts... Earned consensus first-team all-conference accolades and second-team All-America honors (Walter Camp) while being named a finalist for the Ted Hendricks Award (nation’s top defensive end) as a senior... Totaled 10.5 sacks as a senior that marked the most by a Longhorn since 1984... Was a key part of Texas’ BCS national championship as a junior, receiving first-team All-Big 12 honors… Majored in health promotion and fitness.
 

Three-year letterwinner and two-year starter who primarily played defensive end at John Tyler High School in Tyler, Texas... Totaled 127 tackles, 22 tackles for losses and 14 sacks during his final two prep seasons... Earned second-team all-state (Class 5A) and all-district honors as a senior after posting 55 tackles, 12 tackles for losses, nine sacks and one forced fumble... Received honorable mention all-district accolades as a junior after registering 72 tackles (26 solo), 10 tackles for losses and five sacks... Earned three letters in baseball as a pitcher and first baseman... Received all-district honors after posting a .400+ batting average and tossing a one-hitter as a pitcher during his senior year... Timothy C. Crowder was born on June 30, 1985, in Tyler, Texas.
