BUCCANEERS SIGN JAKE CAMARDA

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today signed punter Jake Camarda, a fourth-round selection (No. 133 overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Camarda (6-1, 193) played in 53 games over four seasons at Georgia (2018-22), winning the College Football Playoff National Championship in his final season with the Bulldogs. During his senior season in 2021, he was named SEC Special Teams Player of the Year, first-team All-SEC by the coaches and second-team All-SEC by the Associated Press, pinning 17 punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line. Over his collegiate career, Camarda recorded 187 punts, averaging 45.8 yards per attempt – becoming Georgia's all-time leader in the category. He also pinned 70 punts inside the 20-yard line throughout the course of his career. Camarda earned first earned AP All-America honors in 2020 when he was named to the third team and handled kickoff duties in his final two seasons at Georgia.

A native of Norcross, Georgia, Camarda will wear No. 5 for Tampa Bay.
