Appeared in 36 career games across three seasons (2020-22) at the University of Pittsburgh, totaling 93 tackles (34.5 for loss), 16.0 sacks, three passes defensed and one forced fumble.
Following his senior season in 2022, became the 13th player in University of Pittsburgh program history to be named a Unanimous All-American, and the first to do so since defensive tackle Aaron Donald in 2013.
