Tampa Bay Buccaneers

2025 BUCCANEERS 50TH SEASON SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

Tampa Bay Will Make Four Primetime Appearances in 2025

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2025 regular season schedule was released today by the National Football League. After winning the NFC South division title for the fourth consecutive year, the Buccaneers will again face five division winners from the 2024 season – the maximum number a team can play in the 17-game format.

Tampa Bay's 50th season will commence with a trip to take on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1 at 1 p.m. ET on FOX. The Buccaneers will have a chance to extend their run to a franchise record five consecutive wins in season openers, and are 1-of-4 teams to have won their season opener in each of the past four seasons.

In Week 2, the Buccaneers will return to the city of their 1976 inaugural game as they pay a visit to the Houston Texans and play on the primetime stage of Monday Night Football (7 p.m. ET on ABC).

The home opener at Raymond James Stadium will take place in Week 3 when the Buccaneers take on the New York Jets (1 p.m. ET on FOX). In Head Coach Todd Bowles' first regular season encounter against his former team as head coach of the Buccaneers, he will lead Tampa Bay in search of its third consecutive win vs. the Jets.

Tampa Bay will face off against the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4 (1 p.m. ET on FOX). Including postseason meetings, Tampa Bay has gone 6-1 in its last seven matchups with Philadelphia. The Eagles (58) and Buccaneers (57) rank first and second in the NFC, respectively, in total wins dating back to the start of the 2020 season.

The Buccaneers will travel to the Pacific Northwest for the first time since 2019 to take on the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5 (4:05 p.m. ET on CBS). Tampa Bay has won five of the previous seven meetings with Seattle. Both teams were a part of the NFL's 1976 expansion.

In Week 6, Tampa Bay will host the San Francisco 49ers (1 p.m. ET on CBS) in their lone home game during the month of October. The Buccaneers defeated the 49ers, 31-6, as part of the team's dominant run to Super Bowl XXXVII.

The Buccaneers will play on Monday Night Football for the second time in 2025 when they visit the Detroit Lions in Week 7. Including playoffs, the Buccaneers will be making their fifth trip to Detroit since 2019 – two more trips than they've made to any other non-divisional opponent during that span – and own a 3-1 record in such games. It will be the fourth all-time meeting, including playoffs, between former No. 1 overall picks Baker Mayfield and Jared Goff.

The Buccaneers will remain on the road in Week 8 when they face the New Orleans Saints (4:05 p.m. ET on FOX). Tampa Bay has won five of the past six meetings with New Orleans – the best six-game stretch for the Buccaneers during the all-time series history. The Buccaneers claimed the franchise's first ever win at the Saints in 1977.

Tampa Bay will enjoy its Bye Week in Week 9 before hosting the New England Patriots in Week 10 (1 p.m. ET on CBS). It will be the Patriots first trip to Tampa Bay since 2017.

In Week 11, the Buccaneers and the Buffalo Bills will be going head-to-head for the third time since 2021 – the most meetings for Tampa Bay vs. any AFC opponent during that span. Dating back to 2017, the last three matchups between the two teams have all been decided by six-or-fewer points. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET on CBS.

The Buccaneers will play at SoFi Stadium for the second time in as many years, this time taking on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12 on Sunday Night Football (8:20 p.m. ET on NBC). Tampa Bay is 1-1 all-time in games played at SoFi Stadium since its debut in 2020. It will mark the Buccaneers fifth overall matchup against the Rams since the start of the 2020 season, including playoffs – tied for the second-most of any non-divisional opponent.

Tampa Bay will play three consecutive home games for the first time since 2022 as they take on the Arizona Cardinals (Nov. 30, 1 p.m. ET on FOX), New Orleans Saints (Dec. 7, 1 p.m. ET on CBS) and Atlanta Falcons (Dec. 11, 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video) in Weeks 13-15, respectively.

The Buccaneers will face the Carolina Panthers in two of the final three weeks of the regular season, beginning with a Week 16 December 21 clash on FOX (4:30 p.m. ET). Tampa Bay has won nine of their last 10 matchups with the Panthers.

In Week 17, the Buccaneers visit the Miami Dolphins – a team that Tampa Bay has defeated in six of its past seven meetings. The Buccaneers will conclude their regular season in Week 18 at home vs. the Panthers.

The NFL will again utilize flexible scheduling for Sunday Night Football in Weeks 5-18, with the option to flex games for Monday Night Football in Weeks 12-17 and games for Thursday Night Football in Weeks 13-17.

All games will feature a radio broadcast on 98Rock (WXTB-97.9 FM), as well as stations throughout Florida that are part of the Buccaneers Radio Network, with Gene Deckerhoff on play-by-play duties, Dave Moore as analyst and T.J. Rives on the sideline. Fans can also listen to every Buccaneers Radio broadcast online on Buccaneers.com and the Buccaneers mobile app.

Tampa Bay's 2025 preseason opponents were also released on Wednesday, with the Buccaneers taking on the Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills. Preseason game dates and times will be announced in the future. All preseason contests will be aired locally on WFLA News Channel 8, the Buccaneers official home for preseason football. Chris Myers will be handling play-by-play duties and will be joined in the booth by Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Rondé Barber. The preseason games will also be broadcasted on 98Rock on the Buccaneers Radio Network.
