The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today agreed to terms with outside linebacker Cam Gill and defensive lineman Patrick O'Connor.
Gill (6-3, 240) has played 25 games with the Buccaneers since joining the team as a college free agent in 2020, recording 10 tackles (one for loss), three quarterback hits and 1.5 sacks, while adding seven tackles on special teams. Gill also recorded a half-sack in Tampa Bay's Super Bowl LV victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Wagner College product is a native of Douglasville, Georgia, and wears No. 49 for Tampa Bay.
O'Connor (6-4, 270) has played 57 games with the Buccaneers from 2017-22, recording 13 tackles (three for loss), five quarterback hits and 1.5 sacks. He has also been a core contributor on special teams, where he has seven tackles, one blocked field goal and one blocked punt, which he recovered. The Eastern Michigan product is a native of Chicago and wears No. 79 for Tampa Bay.
