Lavonte David Excited for Hard Knocks

David is eager to see the first installment of this year's Hard Knocks series.

For the first few days of training camp, the Hard Knocks camera crew stuck out like a sore thumb. As we've hit the midpoint of training camp, the 30-man camera crew is beginning to blend in and the Buccaneers are preparing for the season like they usually would.

"It's been different, but sooner or later you get used to it and you don't pay any attention to it," linebacker Lavonte David said. "That's what's been happening so far. You only see them when they actually come around and you see them but other than that it's been a really cool experience. Everybody is nice, the staff is nice and everybody has been treating us with respect."

Hard Knocks has released teaser clips featuring Jameis Winston, Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson and Gerald McCoy. Cameras have been following David around frequently, so frequently he can't remember what's been filmed or what isn't.

He knows that this year's team is a special one and knows that the crew from NFL Films is capturing some entertaining moments. David can't say if there's one particular scene he hopes to see air, but is confident that the final product will be a strong representation of the team.

"I'm excited," David said. "I think they're going to do a good job."

The first episode of Hard Knocks is scheduled to air at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8th on HBO.
