ACQUIRED BY BUCS:

  • Signed by Tampa Bay on May 4, 2009, as a college free agent.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Played in 70 career games with 49 starts, all with the Buccaneers.
  • Helped block for Doug Martin’s 251-yard rushing game against Oakland (11/4/12), the highest-total in team history and tied for the 10th-most in NFL history.
  • Recorded first career start vs. New Orleans (11/6/11).
  • Made NFL debut against Green Bay (11/8/09), playing on special teams.

2014 HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Started at right tackle for 13 weeks on the season, while starting at left tackle in Weeks 15-17.
  • Against St. Louis (9/14), helped pave the way for Bobby Rainey’s 144-yard rushing day.
  • Made first career start at left tackle at Carolina (12/14), helping pave the way for 151 rushing yards on 23 carries (6.6 avg.), Tampa Bay’s second-highest rushing total of the season and their highest yards per carry since 2012.
  • Started at left tackle for the third straight game against New Orleans (12/28), helping pave the way for 183 rushing yards by the Buccaneers, the most the team had recorded since 2013 (11/17/13 vs. Atlanta).

  • Sponsors “Dotson’s Do-Gooders” Front Row Fans section to provide a special gameday experience to those who would otherwise not have a chance to attend Buccaneers home games.
  • In October 2013, helped host the Buccaneers’ Halloween Celebration for youths from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa.
  • In January 2013, visited Potter Elementary and West Tampa Elementary schools to present new eyeglasses to students through the Glazer Family Foundation Vision Program.
  • Traveled to Costa Rice on a mission trip in March 2012 to promote the game of football and lend support to underprivileged communities.
  • Helped surprise 30 families with tickets, gift cards and a shopping spree for the team’s 4th and 5th annual Day of Giving events in December 2010 and 2011.
