Has helped dedicate Buccaneers Academy Fitness Zones at schools throughout the Tampa area, including Bevis Elementary, Davis Elementary, Mort Elementary, and Sheehy Elementary.

Is a team leader in promoting the PLAY 60 initiative at local schools, having visited many elementary and middle schools to encourage students to play outside for at least 60 minutes a day. In 2016, participated in 

Is also a strong supporter of the military, having visited James A. Haley VA Hospital, MacDill Air Force Base, the USO Welcome Center at Tampa International Airport, and other military service organizations throughout the community. 

Had his head shaved by children battling cancer for the Buccaneers Cut for a Cure in 2014, 2015 and 2016 to raise funds and awareness for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

In May 2015, visited Tampa Bay Buccaneers Field in Clearwater to present a $10,000 PLAY 60 grant and lead children through football drills.

In September 2013, helped host a Futbol Americano Celebration at Webb Middle School in celebration of the NFL’s Hispanic Heritage Month through football drills, salsa dancing, and Hispanic cultural music.

Visited four Bay Area elementary schools in 2013 to deliver eyeglasses and speak on the importance of education as part of the Glazer Family Foundation Vision Program.

Helped the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve sort donated toys to support the Toys for Tots program in December 2012.

Greeted children, signed autographs and handed out Buccaneers teddy bears to pediatric patients at Tampa General Hospital in October 2012 and Florida Hospital Tampa in November 2012.

Visited Crestwood Elementary in September 2012 to read to students and promote the importance of literacy during Hispanic Heritage Month. 

Helped host an outing to a Tampa Bay Rays game for underprivileged students from Campbell Park Elementary in May 2012.
