Originally entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick (250th overall) of the St. Louis Rams in the 2005 NFL Draft.


Career highlights:
Has played for St. Louis (2005-06), Cincinnati (2007-08), Buffalo (2009-12), Tennessee (2013), Houston (2014) and N.Y. Jets (2015-16).
Has started 116-of-127 career regular season games, completing 2,315-of-3,876 passes (59.7 pct.), for 25,888 yards with 166 touchdowns and 133 interceptions for a 79.7 passer rating. Has also rushed 438 times for 1,999 yards and 13 touchdowns.
In 2015, recorded the second-most passing yards in Jets history (3,905) while throwing for a Jets franchise record 31 touchdowns – both career highs. That team totaled 5,896 yards of offense, the highest mark in Jets franchise history.
Named the Jets’ 2015 Ed Block Courage Award recipient.
The only quarterback in NFL history to throw four touchdown passes in a game with four different franchises (Buffalo, Houston, N.Y. Jets & Tennessee).
