Biography

Acquired by Bucs:
Selected in the seventh round (223rd overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Buccaneers.


College:
Spent the 2016 season at USC, starting 12-of-13 games, recording 53 tackles, two for loss, one pass defensed and a half sack.
Earned second-team All-Pac-12 honors from the league’s coaches and Phil Steele,
Named the Rose Bowl Defensive Player of the Game and earned a spot on the first-team ESPN Pac-12 All-Bowl team after leading USC with 8 tackles in a win over Penn State.
Prior to his time at USC, played two seasons at Utah (2014-15), playing in 25 games, with two starts, totaling 36 tackles, seven for loss, four fumble recoveries and two passes defensed.
As a junior (2015), led the Pac-12 and tied for second in the NCAA with four fumble recoveries, including a 37-yard touchdown return.
Played in 12 games as a sophomore (2014), registering eight tackles, with one for loss.
Missed the 2013 season due to injury.
Spent the 2010-12 seasons on a Mormon mission after redshirting in 2009 at Utah.
Earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Utah.

Attended East High School (Salt Lake City, Utah).
His uncle is former New York Jets defensive lineman Sione Pouha.
Married to Kalo Tu’ikolovatu.

In June 2017, toured MacDill Air Force Base to greet military servicemen and servicewomen and learn about the important role that the base plays in the Tampa community and beyond.
In June 2017, went go-karting with first-year members from Tampa Fire Rescue.
