Acquired By Bucs: 

Selected in the third round (69th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Buccaneers.

 

Career highlights: 

Has played in 31 career games, with two starts, rushing 224 times for 863 yards (3.9 avg.) and two touchdowns, while catching 94 passes for 941 yards (10.0 avg.) and five touchdowns. 

Has three career games with 100 or more yards from scrimmage.

With 561 receiving yards in 2015, marks the fourth-most such yards by a running back in a single season in franchise history and the fourth-most by a running back in the NFL that season.

Had four touchdown receptions in 2015, the most ever by a Buccaneers running back and tied for the second-most by a running back in the NFL.

Had 1,090 yards from scrimmage in 2015, marking him and Doug Martin (1,673) as only the second pair of Buccaneers running backs to eclipse 1,000 yards from scrimmage in the same season (Mike Alstott and Warrick Dunn, 1999).

Against Denver (10/2), rushed 15 times for 28 yards and caught two passes for seven yards.

Activated from Injured Reserve on December 11.

Returned to action in a win over New Orleans, rushing four times for 17 yards and catching three passes for 33 yards.

College: 

During his collegiate career, started 39-of-48 games he appeared in, carrying the ball 592 times for 3,465 yards and 40 touchdowns, while also catching 203 passes for 2,108 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Spent one season at West Virginia (2013), after graduating from Houston.

In his lone season as a Mountaineer, started all 12 games he played in, recording career highs in rush attempts (208) and rushing yards (1,095), while adding 11 rushing touchdowns, the third-most in the Big 12. 

Also had 45 receptions for 401 yards and three touchdowns and returned four kickoffs for 53 yards. His combined 1,549 yards from scrimmage were a career best.

Named Big 12 Conference co-Newcomer of the Year, with his 129.09 all-purpose yards per game ranking second in the league.

Totaled four 100-yard rushing games on the year.

Earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors after his performance against Oklahoma State (9/28/13), when he had a combined 142 yards rushing and receiving, with one touchdown run.

Prior to his time at West Virginia, played three seasons at Houston (2009-12), totaling 384 rushes and 29 touchdowns, with 158 catches for 1,707 yards and eight touchdowns.

Ranks third in Houston history in total touchdowns (37) and rushing touchdowns (29).

Had his head shaved by children battling cancer for the Buccaneers Cut for a Cure in 2016 to raise funds and awareness for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

In December 2014, visited patients battling illness during the holidays at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg. 

In November 2014, congratulated students at Pinellas Park Middle School for winning the Fuel Up to PLAY 60 “Defend Your Turf Challenge” and led students in fitness drills.

In September 2014, participated in a Buccaneers Academy ribbon-cutting ceremony and helped build an outdoor class at Sheehy Elementary in Tampa. 

In June 2014, visited MacDill Air Force Base to greet service members and learn about U.S. military operations headquartered in Tampa.
