BUCCANEERS AWARDED RB T.J. LOGAN OFF WAIVERS, SIGN TWO PLAYERS TO PRACTICE SQUAD

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today the team has been awarded running back T.J. Logan off of waivers from the Arizona Cardinals.

Logan (5-11, 195) logged 10 games for Arizona in 2018 as both a running back and kick returner. He originally entered the league as a fifth-round selection (179th overall) by the Cardinals in the 2017 NFL Draft and was with Arizona through the 2019 preseason. The Greensboro, North Carolina, native played four seasons at the University of North Carolina.

The team also announced that outside linebacker Patrick O'Connor has been waived. Tampa Bay's roster stands at 53.

In addition, the team has signed RB Tony Brooks-James and T Brad Seaton to the practice squad.

Brooks-James (5-9, 179) comes to Tampa Bay after spending the offseason and preseason with the Atlanta Falcons. He joined Atlanta as a college free agent out of Oregon, where he racked up 1,863 yards rushing and 20 total touchdowns in 46 career games over four seasons with the Ducks. The Gainesville, Florida, native will wear No. 46 for Tampa Bay.

Seaton (6-9, 330) returns to the Buccaneers after spending the offseason and preseason with the Cleveland Browns. Seaton was last with Tampa Bay during the 2018 preseason, after originally joining the Buccaneers on a practice squad contract in November of 2017. He originally entered the league as a seventh-round selection (236th overall) by the Tennessee Titans in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Villanova. The Bronx, New York, native will wear No. 62 for the Buccaneers.
