The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today terminated the practice squad contract of wide receiver Cole Beasley.
Beasley originally signed to Tampa Bay's practice squad on September 21 and was elevated for Weeks 3-4, tallying four receptions for 17 yards. Over his career he played 10 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys (2012-18), Buffalo Bills (2019-21) and Buccaneers (2022), appearing in 151 regular season games, with 50 starts, recording 554 receptions for 5,726 yards and 34 touchdowns. Beasley also played in 11 career postseason games, tallying 40 receptions for 457 yards. Since entering the league as a college free agent with the Cowboys in 2012, Beasley leads all undrafted players in receptions, ranks third in receiving yards and ranks fourth in receiving touchdowns. The Little Elm, Texas, native played collegiately at Southern Methodist.
