BUCCANEERS PROMOTE ISAAC, SIGN WELLS TO PRACTICE SQUAD

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today promoted cornerback Keenan Isaac from the practice squad to the active roster and signed tight end David Wells to the practice squad.

Isaac(6-2, 186) originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Buccaneers in May 2023. He has appeared in two games for Tampa Bay this season, being elevated from the practice squad for the Week 4 victory at New Orleans and the Week 10 win over Tennessee. The Midfield, Alabama, native played collegiately at Alabama State (2018-22), appearing in 36 games and amassing 122 tackles, 21 passes defensed, three interceptions, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and 1.0 sack. He wears No. 16 for Tampa Bay.

Wells (6-6, 260) originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Dallas Cowboys in 2018. He has since spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs (2018-19), New England Patriots (2020-21), Atlanta Falcons (2021), Indianapolis Colts (2021), Arizona Cardinals (2021-22),  Tennessee Titans (2022) and Buccaneers (2022-23). Wells has appeared in seven career games, including four for Tampa Bay this season. The Clovis, California, native was a two-time All-Mountain West selection at San Diego State (2013-17). He wears No. 89 for Tampa Bay.
