The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today the team has re-signed defensive tackle Rakeem Nuñez-Roches.
Nuñez-Roches (6-2, 307) played in three games for Tampa Bay last season, recording two tackles. He originally entered the league as a sixth-round pick (217th overall) of the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2015 NFL Draft. He spent three seasons with Kansas City (2015-17), appearing in 34 regular season games, with 16 starts, totaling 51 tackles (five for loss) and 1.5 sacks. He spent the 2018 offseason and preseason with the Indianapolis Colts. A native of Phenix City, Alabama, Nuñez-Roches played collegiately at Southern Mississippi.
