The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins named their game-day inactives on Sunday at 11:30 p.m. ET, 90 minutes before kickoff of their Week 10 game at Raymond James Stadium. NFL teams are required to reduce their active rosters to 46 players for each regular-season game.
The Buccaneers had no real question marks on their eight-man Friday injury report, ruling out four players but not labeling any of the other four as questionable for the game. The four sidelined players include starting left defensive end Vinny Curry, guard Evan Smith, rookie running back Ronald Jones and M.J. Stewart, the team's primary nickel back.
Curry missed two games due to an ankle injury sustained in Atlanta in Week Six but returned last week to play against the Panthers. He subsequently suffered a setback with the ankle and did not practice this week before being ruled out against the Redskins. Smith, Jones and Stewart will all miss a second game in a row.
Washington's offensive line has been hit hard by injuries in recent weeks. Starting guards Brandon Scherff and Shawn Lauvao are now on injured reserve and starting left tackle Trent Williams is out for the game against Tampa Bay due to a thumb injury. Starting right tackle Morgan Moses was cleared to play despite being limited in practice this week with a knee injury. Injuries will also keep starting cornerback Quinton Dunbar, starting wideout Jamison Crowder and change-of-pace back Chris Thompson off the field.
