The Bucs will have a special guest carry their flag out on Sunday when the team hosts the Bears. Robin Zander, lead singer for the band Cheap Trick, is set to run out of the tunnel with the Bucs' flag for the team's final regular season home game.
Tampa Bay is close to Zander's heart; the singer has lived in Safety Harbor for the past 22 years.
Zander joined Cheap Trick in 1974 and has served as the band's front man ever since. The group consists of Zander, Tom Petersson on bass, Rick Nielson on guitar and Dax Nielson on the drums.
Since their inception, the band has released 16 studio albums and produced 17 tracks which appeared on Billboard's Top 100, including 1979's "I Want You to Want Me," which peaked at No. 7.
Later this year, Cheap Trick will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
