Your Turn with Shaun King, Part Two

The Buccaneers’ second-year quarterback answers fans’ questions about poise, Tulane, fumbling and more

After a workout last week, Shaun King sat down with coach Clyde Christensen to chat; he did the same thing with Buc fans the next day

At times, Shaun King says, he feels like a rookie again. Considering the success he enjoyed during his real rookie season, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

King was referring to the installation of new Offensive Coordinator Les Steckel's offense, a dramatic overhaul that has put the second-year Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback back into the same position he was in at this time in 1999. This time, however, the entire offensive unit is learning a new system along with King, a process that went favorably during the recently-concluded voluntary summer workouts.

King discussed that topic and more during the second part of his 'Your Turn' interview; you can view the video of that session by clicking here. To read a full written transcript of the interview, please click here.

King was the first player featured on Buccaneers.com's popular 'Your Turn' interview series. The series allows fans to send in questions for the subject of the interview, and a selection of those questions is used to conduct the interview. Previous guests on 'Your Turn' include General Manager Rich McKay, Head Coach Tony Dungy, Offensive Coordinator Les Steckel, Defensive Coordinator Monte Kiffin and Director of Player Personnel Jerry Angelo. You can watch any of those previous interviews or read the transcripts by visiting the Your Turn archive. You will also find links to the first half of Shaun King's interview on this page.
