The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Iowa defensive end Anthony Nelson No.107 in Round 4 of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Thanks to Ravens Flag Football for announcing our 4th round pick! The Ravens were one of 38 teams who participated in the Buccaneers Preseason Classic, one of the largest flag football events in the state of Florida.
The Buccaneers selected defensive lineman Anthony Nelson out of the University of Iowa with the 107th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The 6-7, 271-pound defensive end played in all 39 games of his three-year career with the Hawkeyes, starting the last two seasons. He ranked second in the Big Ten and 17th in the nation in sacks during the 2018 season with 9.5 and had two sacks in the Pinstripe Bowl.
Nelson earned an invitation to the 2019 NFL Combine where he ran a 4.82 40-yard dash with a sub-seven-second three-cone drill (6.95).
