Upon finishing his collegiate career, Jackson's 73 career games played were the most in NCAA history, while his 555 career tackles were the second-most in FBS history.
During his final collegiate season in 2024 at Iowa, started all 13 games and tallied 91 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one interception returned for a 28-yard touchdown. Earned third-team All–Big Ten honors.
In 2023 at Iowa, started all 14 games and recorded 110 tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, and two passes defensed. Earned third-team All–Big Ten recognition.
During his senior season at Virginia in 2022, started nine of 10 games and delivered 104 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, and 5.0 sacks. Was named second-team All–ACC.
As a junior in 2021 at Virginia, started all 12 games and amassed 117 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
As a sophomore in 2020, started all 10 games and posted 105 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. Received third-team All‑ACC recognition.
