The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today signed 2025 second-round draft pick cornerback Benjamin Morrison.
Morrison (6-0, 190) was selected by the Buccaneers in the second round (No. 53 overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at the University of Notre Dame (2022-24), starting 26-of-31 career games and finishing with 94 tackles, 18 passes defensed and nine interceptions (one returned 96 yards for a touchdown). His nine career interceptions are tied for the third-most by a Notre Dame defender dating back to the start of the 1996 season. Morrison was named a freshman All-American in 2022 after posting a career-high six interceptions. Voted a team captain in 2024, Morrison was limited to six games yet compiled 20 tackles and four passes defensed for a Notre Dame program that made it to the 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship Game. The Phoenix, Arizona, native will wear No. 21 for Tampa Bay.
