The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 2-0 for the fifth season in a row. They will now try to make it 3-0 for the first time in exactly two decades. They'll chase that goal while playing at home for the first time in 2025.

Up next for the Buccaneers is a visit from the New York Jets, with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, September 21. The game will be broadcast locally by FOX. Tampa Bay will make history by playing the game in replicas of the uniforms the franchise only wore in their inaugural 1976 season, featuring white pants and jerseys and orange numbers outlined in red.

The Buccaneers maintained first place in the NFC South with a thrilling Monday Night Football comeback win on the road against the Houston Texans in Week Two. Baker Mayfield led an 80-yard touchdown drive that culminated in Rachaad White's two-yard touchdown run with six seconds left to produce a 20-19 decision that marked the Buccaneers' first-ever regular-season win in Houston. The two-head rushing attack of White and Bucky Irving produced a 169-yard ground game that spelled the difference in a hard-fought game against an aggressive Houston defense.

The Jets fell to 0-2 with a 30-10 home loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. After an exciting back-and-forth contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week One that ended in a 34-32 defeat, the Jets struggled in their second outing against one of the AFC's top playoff contenders. New Jets quarterback Justin Fields had an exciting debut against the Steelers, throwing for 218 yards and a touchdown and running for two more scores, but he was held in check against Buffalo and also left the game in the third quarter with an apparent concussion. If he is unable to clear the league's concussion protocol by next Sunday, the Jets would turn to veteran backup Tyrod Taylor.
